Ai Kishimoto, a Japanese woman, lives unknowingly trapped between the oppressive monotony of her daily work routine and a secret life that awakens only at night.
After yet another day marked by tension and emptiness, standing on the verge of emotional collapse, Ai perceives for the first time the deep fracture dividing her into two opposing identities.
The inevitable confrontation with her dual nature — guided by the apparition of a mystical, ancestral figure — will lead her toward a new self-awareness and a renewed inner balance.
